AP TEST SOLTUION (Wi-Fi)

AP TEST SOLTUION (Wi-Fi)

Wi-Fi is one of the wireless internet technologies that enables internet connection using wireless signals. It performs communication between a wireless access point (AP) and a wireless client (such as a smartphone or laptop with a built-in wireless LAN card), usually using the Wi-Fi wireless standard IEEE 802.11.

TR-398

TR-398 test is a performance testing standard developed by the Broadband Forum
to evaluate the performance of Wi-Fi routers in real-world scenarios.
This standard aims to provide an accurate and repeatable testing methodology
that can be used to compare the performance of Wi-Fi routers from different vendors.
TR-398 test consists of a series of tests that evaluate the performance of Wi-Fi routers
in various scenarios, such as short-range and long-range transmissions, multiple device usage,
and interference from other Wi-Fi networks. The tests measure key performance indicators (KPIs)
such as throughput, latency, and packet loss, to provide a comprehensive assessment of a router's performance.

AP FUNCTIONAL TEST – ROAMING TEST

Wi-Fi roaming test refers to simulating and testing scenarios that occur when client devices move between access points (AP) on a Wi-Fi network. Through this, the roaming performance of a Wi-Fi network can be evaluated by measuring the client's transition time, success rate, service continuity, bandwidth, and other factors when switching between AP.

AP TEST SOLTUION – Mesh TEST

Wi-Fi Mesh test refers to measuring the performance of a Wi-Fi Mesh network consisting of multiple wireless access points (AP) systems. Wi-Fi Mesh is a technology that allows multiple wireless access points to be connected to form a single network, enabling coverage of larger areas. In such networks, each AP communicates with other AP, improving scalability. Wi-Fi Mesh tests measure signal interference between AP, transmission rate, wireless connection stability, roaming ability, and other performance factors. These tests help verify the design and implementation of Wi-Fi Mesh systems and identify and resolve network performance issues. Additionally, Wi-Fi Mesh tests are also used to compare the performance differences of Wi-Fi networks with single AP systems such as routers.
